Yesterday saw Airbus release its order and delivery figures for October 2023, which are looking steady as we approach the end of the year.
The European planemaker releases this information each month highlighting where they are up to in the context of overall backlog as well.

Airbus Records Steady Orders & Deliveries for October…

Airbus recorded 71 deliveries to 42 customers in October, which is higher than the 55 aircraft delivered last month.
The European planemaker secured 119 gross orders, which was also a lot higher than the 23 recorded in September.
In terms of such highlights from the planemaker on orders, this is as follows:
- Condor orders three more A330neos.
- United order for 60 A321neos.
- Air Niugini orders six A220s.
- And much more!
Airbus has been making some strong ground on the orders and deliveries fronts for October, but what does the overall backlog look like?

With the updated table, this shows that the backlog for Airbus as of the 31st October is currently at 8,014 aircraft.
Ahead of the Dubai Air Show, which begins next week, there will no doubt be additions to this backlog, especially as many orders are rumored to become reality at the trade show.
