Incident: British Airways Flight Barcelona-London Met By Fire Crews…

British Airways flight BA475 departed Barcelona El Prat Airport at 1528 local time earlier today, which was around an hour late at the time.
The flight, operated by G-TTOB, one of the airline’s Airbus A320s landed into London Heathrow at 1613 local time.
As per data from Planespotters.net, G-TTOB is a 21.8 year old airframe that started out life with British Airways back in February 2022 under operation by GB Airways.
From there, it went over to easyJet in March 2008 for around a year, before being returned to the airline, where it has been since.
Upon arrival into Heathrow, the aircraft was met by fire and emergency crews following reports, courtesy of AirLive that cabin crew fell ill following the smoke and fumes onboard.

The flight was met by fire crews and paramedics for those affected by the smoke & fumes onboard the aircraft.
G-TTOB has not been in the air since this incident, with it’s next expected flight to take place on October 10 to Budapest, providing British Airways crews can identify the problem and fix it.
