Also, as per Planespotters, A7-BCC is a 11.6 year old Boeing 787-8 that was delivered to the airline in December 2012.
Furthermore, of the 787-8 variant, QR has 30 of them in their fleet, and all of them are in active service, with an average fleet age of 3.7 years.

A7-BCC appears to be grounded following the emergency incident today. Looks like Qatar Airways have sent an Airbus A350 to pick up the stranded passengers in Basra.
