G-EUYR is the first narrowbody aircraft in the airline’s fleet to be painted into this special scheme.
As per data from Planespotters.net, G-EUYR is a 10 year old Airbus A320 that was delivered to British Airways, based at London Heathrow, back in November 2013.

The aircraft left the paint shop in Shannon today at 1256 local time and proceeded eastbound to Heathrow, where the aircraft landed at 1354 local time.
Upon return into the British Airways hub, G-EUYR has been returned into commercial service very quickly, with the aircraft already operating the BA826 rotation to Dublin from London.
Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see whether anymore narrowbodies in the airline’s fleet will be painted into this special oneworld colour scheme.
Typically, the carrier has them painted on their widebody long-haul aircraft, so this definitely represents a change for sure.
All eyes will be on whether anymore aircraft go to the paintshop for this.
