In the last few hours, airBaltic has announced the suspension of all services to Tel Aviv, Israel until January 1 next year.
The Latvian carrier becomes the latest in a significant list of commercial airlines who have taken such a decision.

airBaltic Suspends All Flights to Tel Aviv Until 2024…

In a statement released today by the carrier, they said the following on such cancellations to Tel Aviv:
“The Latvian airline airBaltic announces that due to the uncertainty related to the current situation in Israel, all airBaltic flights to and from Tel Aviv has been canceled until January 1, 2024.”
“The safety and security of passengers, employees and flights is the main priority of airBaltic.”
“The airline remains in close contact with national and international authorities. Thus, the company is flexible and ready to adjust its flight schedule as necessary.”
“airBaltic invites all affected passengers to check their bookings on the airline’s webpage for a refund or contact airBaltic Call Centre for other possible changes by calling at +371 6700 6006.”
The Latvian carrier joins the following airlines that have suspended services to Tel Aviv at the moment:
- Virgin Atlantic – Until October 28.
- British Airways – Unclear how long at this time.
- Finnair – Until March 2024.
- Delta Air Lines – Until October 31.
- United Airlines – Until further notice.
All eyes will be on the situation in the area from commercial carriers, as there will no doubt be heavy enthusiasm to operate into the area once the ongoing conflict has reduced in its intensity.
